Barrett Lake Run - Tentative

Featured Events
This is a Labor Day run.
Start Time: 0830
Location: Depart from Wendy’s lot in Brunswick Basin
From Wendy's we will head out to Moore's Flat. Moore’s Flat is an hydraulic mining area. William Lewis Manly was one of the founders following his “Escape from Death Valley” in 1849.
The road to the cemetery probably has trees with branches hanging down to brush the vehicles and the route out may be too brushy and cause us to back track a bit.
From Moore’s flat we will continue past Bucks Ranch back out to the Graniteville Rd, then to Spanish Mine. Good view to the south.
Dropping down toward Poorman Creek, we make a left turn at the lower Spanish Mine site toward Ancho Erie Mine.
And finally out to Little Town of Washington.
Should be a good day of wandering. Most of this should be lightly traveled even on Labor day.
Bring Lunch, water, etc for the day.
Please let Martin know if you plan to attend.
