On Monday, October 9, 16 adventurous mountaineers (aka jeepers) acsended Mount Patterson south of Topaz Lake. We went in on Bertram Flat Road up to Lobdell Road and up to the summit. No winching, harnessing or oxygen was required to crawl up the south Col and Hillary Steps of the mighty Mount Patterson. It was very windy at the top of the mountain and unfortunately, we could not stay very long. We proceeded down to the backside of the mountain to Stillwater Ranch had lunch at Belford and and return to camp.
