We left my house at 9am as scheduled and took the little shortcut to the Alleghany Road across the covered bridge on Oregon Creek.
I wanted to stop and hike down to the cave we finally found at Keystone but could not talk Donna into it. Something about getting shot if I suggested it again.
We were starting to get some nice fall colors but they still had a bit to go. I think we just missed the fall roundup as there was some fresh cow pies at the camp but no cows.
The trip was without any breakdowns. We stopped for lunch at Milton Reservoir. No eagles fishing this time though.
Aurora did a fine job piloting her Jeep. I don’t think she is going to have any problems becoming a Jeeper.
