From Jim T:
Stage and Safety inspection was held on Washington Rd at the lookout. We left staging at 9:15 after a driver meeting. Gil (Tail Gunner) waited an additional 5 minutes after the last vehicle departed looking for any late arrivals.
Ran through Washington (15mph or less), up F21 about 5 miles before airing down, and on to F50. Trail had a few good deep holes and icey up hills requiring Crew and Guests helping each other up. We arrived at the lunch area at 11:58 with a few getting stuck entering the lunch area (including the Sheriff with his 42inch BFGs, but only aired to 20PSI).
After lunch, Joe C and Jamie R took 8 extreme-equipped rigs (mostly Diablo 4 Wheelers members) up F50 to finish breaking through to Bowman Lake Rd. After break through, they returned down F50.
The rest of Blizzard Brigade returned down F50 (after Brian and Gil had their fun getting several stuck jeeps loose at the lunch area)to F21 and out. The last guest was aired up by 4:00, just as Joe's group caught up with us.
Believe all had a good time with many needing a tug at one time or another. As always, thanks to the Blizzard Brigade crew, who can keep up with me while keeping all safe and maximizing every one's outing.
