From Brian:
What a club turn out for todays run. 22 rigs at Wendys for 8 am leave time. We went up Hwy 20, turned left and went Alfa Rd to air down, then down to the Little Town of Washington. Up Gaston Grade to Forest Road 50, and 50B. Group split up with Martin leading for 50B. All joined back up, and headed to Bowman Lake, then turned left to Weaver Lake for a nice lunch stop. Ron T liked the spot so much he is going to spend the night with his Mog camping out. We went on to a trail I ran years ago with a bridge at the bottom of a canyon that was a little sketchy. Big club turn out to cut timbers for me to cross. (Phew big thanks to Frosty for spotting.) We all made it across, and on to Graniteville and Spanish Mine. Then, air up and home.
It was a long day (44 mi, ~8 hours), with summer dust on all roads. All part of wheeling. A big shout out to all attending. Made my Day
