Siller’s did the clearing below the high water mark a on both French Meadows and Hell Hole. Actually Siller’s maintenance shop for the French Meadows project is still there just upstream from the dam under a few hundred feet of water. The 64 floods filled that reservoir much faster than intended. They  got the equipment out but lost the shop. Same thing at Hell Hole. A lot of their equipment ended up almost to Sacramento from the Hell Hole project. 

[Maybe: We will be looking to meet up with the Foresthill Wheelers for a combined run. On possible destination is their "Adopt-a-trail" run.]

Camping and light maintenance trip to Gold Valley. NOTE!!! The next trip in
June is a Rubicon Trail run. Depending upon enthusiasm these could be interchange and/or the Rubicon trip could be shifted to a weekday trip.

Overnight to Rubicon Trail Foundation property and return out back to Loon
Lake. Dispersed camping on RTF property and should not be too crazy for a weekend.SEE NOTE ABOVE FOR GOLD VALLEY, this trip could also be during the week and extended to three days and camp at RTF (or Buck Island Lake) then to Rubicon Springs the second day and the third would be out Cadillac Hill to Tahoma.

Sand Hollow (9/27 – 10/1)  (5 nights, Camping or hotel in or around Sand Hollow,
hotels available in nearby St George UT). Numerous run possibilities in Sand Hollow.
Escalante (10/2-10/3) (2 nights, Camping or Hotel in Escalante Ut) Several State Parks,Grand Staircase, Peekaboo Canyon or other places to explore.
Moab (10/4 – 10/8) (5 nights, lots of hotels, motels, and RV camping in Moab p.s. Jim and Leslie C have reservations at the KOA). Too many runs to list, favorites are
Fins and Things, Hell’s Revenge, Seven Mile Rim, Kane Springs, Schafer Mill
Canyon… Exact runs will depend upon number and skill (or vehicle) level of
participants.
Green River (10/9 – 10/11) (Hotels and camping available). Runs TBD

Homeward bound: Participants discretion. It’s about 13 hours add at least three or
more hours if towing. Two main roads between here and Moab I-80 or US-50. Elko,
Wells, or Wendover are good stopover along I-80, Ely is about halfway on US-50.
